A free checklist you can start using right away – each daily check is logged with operator, date and result, not a slip of paper that disappears.

The operator should check the forklift before use – brakes, steering, hydraulics, tyres, forks and warning devices. On paper it's easily forgotten and impossible to follow up.
This template turns each daily check into a record: the check points are marked OK or Defect, a defect gets an owner and a due date, and a serious defect can take the machine out of service until it's rectified.
| Truck / machine | Operator | Date | Brakes | Hydraulics / lift | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Forklift 01 (Toyota) | Andy L. | 2026-06-18 | OK | OK | Approved |
| Forklift 02 (Linde) | Mia K. | 2026-06-18 | Defect | OK | Defect noted |
| Loader 1 | Omar | 2026-06-17 | OK | OK | Rectified |
Does the operator have to check the forklift every day?
Work equipment must be checked before use under health-and-safety rules, and forklifts are typically checked daily by the operator. This template makes that daily check easy to log and follow up.
Does this replace professional servicing?
No. This is the operator's daily pre-use check log. Periodic servicing and any thorough examination are done separately – the template documents that the daily checks were actually carried out.
Does it cost anything to start?
No. You can open the template as an app and start logging checks right away, without signing up. You log in only when you want to save and invite your operators.
