What is this log – and what isn't it?
It's a traceable record that your fall protection and PPE were inspected and what was found. It is not a complete safety programme, and it doesn't decide which inspection requirements or intervals apply to you – that remains your own judgement based on the equipment and the rules for your work.
Isn't a paper log enough?
A paper log can be lost or filled in after the fact. This system logs each inspection with date, inspector and result, keeps defects visible until actioned or discarded, and gives you a history you can show on the spot.
Does it cost anything to start?
